Let’s face it…our fears that is. Life can throw us all curve balls when we least expect it.  I think it’s safe to say most of us endured some or many challenges during our world pandemic. Although through those challenges I hope you have developed more confidence in what you are capable of overcoming. Fear can easily creep in when life doesn’t go as we have planned. Though the only way for us to overcome and grow is having the courage to continue on through our fears.

My guest today, Dave Hollis shares how he was recently confronted with the fact that he was living the life someone else wanted for him. After weathering a highly publicized personal crisis amid the backdrop of an international pandemic and navigating the enjoyable but unpredictable waters of being a single father to four kids, he has been forced to become the captain of his own life and now teaches others how to do the same.

Dave Hollis  is a New York Times best-selling author, host of the popular Rise Together podcast, a keynote speaker and a life and business coach on GrowthDay. Dave’s history includes CEO of a media start-up, former President of Sales for the film studio at The Walt Disney Company, a talent manager across film, TV, and music, and work in publicity, research, and technology in the entertainment sector. Dave Hollis’ purpose on this planet is to encourage people to step toward their calling while equipping them with the tools to lead an exceptional life.

Now let’s talk about this subject:

“Build Through Courage, Face Your Fears And Live A Life You Are Meant For”

We are built through courage. We must be willing to leave our safe harbor, navigate the rough waters of fear and uncertainty, and sail courageously toward a purpose-filled life. Dave Hollis shares a roadmap for you to develop the courage to leave a safe harbor and live a life you are meant for

“You’ll never cross the ocean unless you lose sight of the shore”

We Talk About:

  • How in order for us to grow and obtain the life we desire we must have the courage to leave a safe harbor
  • The one thing that stops all of us from learning and growing
  • How we can start to uncover the vision you have for yourself
  • There is the change you choose, then the change that chooses you
  • How to avoid ship killers
  • Starting with a blank canvas to reimagine your life and who you are
  • How journaling can help bring awareness to where you are at and where you want to go
  • What is required to gain more clarity of your vision
  • What questions we should ask ourselves often
  • The journey of writing his book in midst of chaos
  • Building your courage
  • The importance of challenging yourself
